Etsy Thursday – Four Favorites

April 30, 2009

This week I decided to shake things up. Instead of featuring a favorite Etsy seller, I’m calling attention to four of my favorite items. Hope you don’t mind the deviation!

First up, Purple Revival Earrings by Exotic Flavour. There was a time when I dreamed about getting a Celtic knot tattoo, then realised that I’m not Irish and it might not be the best representation of me. I think these Celtic-like wrapped earrings are a good compromise. I’d be able to cherish the intricate beauty without having it permanently imbued on my body.

Next, Mini Hare print by Dolan Geiman. Dolan is my new artist + blog crush*. I love everything he makes (especially Lovebird) but was drawn to the melon color in Hare. Plus, it’s appropriate for the season, don’tcha think? *I suspect that Dolan’s wife Ali is the mastermind behing the DG blog, so props to Ali!

The Pleated Bell Purse by Jump Up And Down does indeed make me want to jump up and down giddy with excitement. The funky damask fabric is the absolute perfect palette. Wedding and party planners should take notice.

Lastly, how sweet is the Spotted Bird Pillow by Alexandra Ferguson? I get goosebumps when illustration intersects with good design so seamlessly. Chic, romantic and precious. I’ll take two!

What do you think, readers? Would love if you’d share links to some of your Etsy Favorites!
