I Learned Something Today
June 8, 2009
Don’t look at the pricetag. Just smile lovingly knowing that you appreciate the cute overload supplied by Wendy Brandes. Also, just read that historically acorns represented immortality and were often used in mourning jewelry. See, I learned two things today.

I've mastered the art of smiling politely when I see something I love but can't anywhere near afford. I'm likely not fooling anyone that I'm not shocked but I just can't bear to exclaim 'How much??'
However, unlike most fashion that is beautiful but grossly overpriced considering it is mass-produced and factory-made, I believe wholeheartedly that Wendy's pieces are worth the price tag. One day I will be wearing an Edburga poison ring…I will!!
Oh, I hear you loud and clear Denise. I've also been coveting one of her poison rings. Wendy's work is just so beautiful and detailed.
So cute, clever, and elegant!
Though the price tag did make me physically flinch… I can't deny it.
oooof… I peeked at the pricetag. I had to, of course. makes me feel like my jewelry prices are dirt cheap!
I just saw this…thanks so much for the mention!
whooooa. in that case, you should look at the price tag. cute necklace but ye-ouch.
